Disadvantages of Television (Cons of Television) If there are advantages of watching television, there are disadvantages too. Watching television in excess can affect our health that is it affects our eyes, makes lazy like couch potatoes etc. Television also makes a lot of sounds which affect our minds.

In other words, kids spent most of their time watching television and not studying. However, as times passed, the channels of television changed. More and more channels were broadcasted with different specialties. Thus, it gave us knowledge too along with entertainment. The invention of television gave us various benefits.

It benefits people in many ways. Many people use the television as a mayor part of information. Television is beneficial because it provides news, entertainment and education. News is the first beneficial aspect of television.

Excessive use of television can also cause eyesight problems in early ages. As mentioned before, excessive use of anything is bad, excessive use of television is also bad socially, morally, and economically. Economically because television takes much electricity ;).
